On May 19, 2024 South Texas Electric Cooperative awarded a scholarship in the amount of $2,000 to Rachel Lange and a scholarship of $1,500 to Vanessa Lange. Rachel and Vanessa are 2024 graduates of Industrial High School. Rachel and Vanessa are the daughters of STEC Nursery employee Clifton Lange.

Rylie and Kamdyn are 2024 graduates of Goliad High School. Rylie is the daughter of STEC Nursery employee Clayton Schutz. Kamdyn is the daughter of STEC Nursery employee Kyle Janak.
