Last night, around 8 PM, our transformer at the Inez substation was shot by an unknown person(s).  This caused an extended outage in the Inez area affecting Victoria Electric Cooperative members.  This sort of act is harmful and dangerous for members of the community.  Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to reach out to Victoria County Sheriff’s Office at (361)575-0651.
