South Texas Electric Cooperative Selects New General Manager
Nursery, Texas – The Board of Directors of South Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc. (STEC) is pleased to announce that on or before January 1, 2023, Clifton (Clif) Lange will assume the duties of General Manager for the Generation & Transmission Cooperative (G&T). Holmes Executive Search assisted the Board of Directors during the selection process.
Mr. Lange has more than 22 years of cooperative and industry experience and brings a proven track record of demonstrated leadership at the G&T level. Most recently, he served as STEC’s Manager of Wholesale Marketing and QSE. He currently serves as the Chairman of the ERCOT Technical Advisory Committee, as well as the cooperative segment representative on the Texas Energy Reliability Council.
Mr. Lange holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston-Victoria. He and his wife, Sandra, along with their three children, currently reside in Inez, Texas.
Mr. Lange will replace Mike Kezar, who is retiring after serving as STEC’s General Manager for the past eight years.
